Registered Nurse 2007 Graduates (5 positions)
As a new graduate, you will be coached by one of our Registered Nurses as a member of our management team to effectively supervise and coordinate the care given by our nursing staff. You will be required to provide a complete spectrum of nursing services similar to those in long term care, including medication administration, complex continuing care, and an on-site physician’s clinic. You must have completed your nursing examinations and are eligible for temporary Ontario nursing license to participate in this program. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Supervisory experience and prior experience in a retirement or long term care setting preferred but not necessary. You must be available to work shifts. These are full-time, 7.5 month, temporary positions.

Registered Practical Nurse 2007 Graduates (5 positions)
As a new graduate, you will be coached by an existing RPN to provide care to residents on an ongoing basis. You will provide hands-on clinical nursing care including medication administration and assisting in the ADL’s as required, maintain accurate records of nursing observations and make recommendations to the DOC regarding care plans as needed. You will also assist in the direction of care given by Personal Support Workers.

You will have completed your nursing examinations and be eligible for a temporary nursing license in Ontario to be eligible for this program. You must have good communication / interpersonal skills, promote cooperation and positive relationships throughout the organization and bea team player. You must be available to work all shifts, every other weekend and to cover call-ins as required. These are full-time, 7.5 month, temporary positions.
