Nursing Graduate Initiative

Under this program, the Ministry of Health & Long Term Care is creating bridging positions to support new Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) graduate to find full-time employment immediately upon graduation. The bridging will provide full-time employment for a period of 7.5 months with the hope that, at the completion of the bridging period, the employer will offer the new graduate permanent employment. Centennial Place in Millbrook and Moira Place in Tweed are registered employers in this program and are currently offering bridging positions for both RNs and RPNs.
