You will provide assistance in the function s of all day-to-day Pro
Shop activities, including opening and/or closing the Pro Shop,
processing golfers onto the golf course, serving food and beverages
to customers/guests, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in
the Pro Shop, assisting with special event functions and balancing
the daily cash flow. As well, you will supervise the shift staff, be
able to handle any guest question or concern and be available to
work shifts, including weekends and holidays on a frequent basis.
You must work well in a team environment, possess sound judgment,
possess excellent communication and customer service skills and be
well organized. Must be 18 years of age or older (legal serving
age), have completed your Smart Serve Certificate and possess basic
computer skills.
Pro Shop Attendant (Seasonal – Golf
Course)
You will provide assistance in the day-to-day functions of the Pro
Shop activities including processing golfers onto the golf course,
serving food and beverages to customers/guests, maintain a clean and
sanitary environment in the Pro Shop and assist in special event
functions as the Golf & Country Club. Must be 18 years of ago or
older (legal serving age) and have successfully completed the Smart
Serve Certificate course. Previous customer service experience
preferred but not necessary. Must be available to work shifts,
including weekends and holidays on a frequent basis and possess
basic computer skills.
Range/Cart Attendant (Seasonal – Golf
Course)
You would be responsible to maintain the driving range and outgoing
and incoming power cart rentals. You will provide assistance in the
day-to-day functions of the golf course activities including
assisting golfers onto the golf course, maintaining a clean
environment inside and outside the Pro Shop, assist golfers needing
instruction and assist in special event functions as required. You
must be professional in appearance and demeanor, work well in a team
environment, use sound judgment, be able to work independently and
be able to operate a gas powered golf cart. Availability to work
shifts, including weekends and holidays on a frequent basis a must.
Building Superintendents
As one of Peterborough's premier owners of residential properties,
AON has an opportunity for a mature couple to perform general
maintenance and cleaning of one of our residential apartment
buildings. The successful applicant will be an effective
communicator with outstanding customer service and problem solving
skills. Prior experience as a Building Superintendent or as a
Commercial Cleaner would be an asset as would well-honed maintenance
and repair skills. You will be in good physical condition, able to
lift moderate to heavy objects, and be able to perform general
maintenance and repair tasks using established safe work practices
Maintenance Technicians
A member of our Maintenance Team, you will perform general
maintenance and repair of AON's residential and commercial
properties. You will be mature, in good physical condition,
well-organized and possess excellent customer service skills. You
will be an effective decision-maker, time-conscious, able to manage
multiple projects and exercise good judgment. Good communication
skills and the ability to work as a part of our team or
independently are essential.
You will have excellent maintenance and
repair skills, good carpentry skills, and consistently produce
quality workmanship. Previous experience as a building maintenance
technician or handyman would be an asset. You will have Post
Secondary Education or equivalent experience, have your own hand
tools and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
